Who is Involved in eConsult

Referring Provider

  • Primary or Specialty Care Provider (MD, DO, NP, PA)
  • Asks a clinical question and submits eConsult
  • Reviews recommendation and signs off on eConsult

Clinical Staff

  • Can initiate eConsult for Referring Provider
  • Can add documentation to eConsult (labs, notes, results)
  • Can download eConsult Summary into patient record

Reviewer

  • Specialty Care Provider (MD, DO) licensed to practice in CO
  • Responds to eConsult with clinical guidance within 3 business days
  • Closes eConsult with Recommendation

Administrator

  • Access to eConsult utilization reports
  • Can reassign an eConsult to another Referring Provider
  • Submits claims to Health First CO for reimbursement

Practice emails SNC to begin enrollment process

SNC sends Practice Enrollment and User Creation form for completion

Once completed forms are returned, SNC will confirm the enrollment

Users complete live or video training and receive their login credentials
